This is a 3 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 4, 2025 with possible extension (12 months) and/or permanency. Pingelly Primary School (PS) is seeking a passionate, hardworking Primary Teacher to join their regional school.
Pingelly PS is located 160 kilometres south-east of Perth. Students from Kindergarten to Year 6 are drawn from the rural community and the town. Approximately 30% of the school's students are Aboriginal. The school values collaboration, an inclusive and balanced curriculum, and a strong pastoral care system supported by the Grass Roots Foundation. Responsibilities and expectations- Pursue excellence in teaching and learning and support whole-school approaches.
- Contribute to an explicit instructional model with evidence-based whole-school approaches in synthetic phonics, comprehension, mathematics, and writing.
- Be innovative and systematic in using high-impact teaching strategies and targeted differentiation (Tier 2 interventions) in literacy, numeracy, and social and emotional learning.
- Experience with whole-school programs such as InitiaLit, Seven Steps to Writing Success, Berry Street, and Zones of Regulation is ideal but not essential.

Eligibility- Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment.

- Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
