Overview

Production Technician - 12 Month Contract on the Stag Platform. Roster: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, 2 weeks on, 4 weeks off.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out the duties and responsibilities of the Permit Authority, Panel/Field Operator, and Authorised Gas Tester across day and night shift.
  • Be a member of the Incident Response Team.
  • Create and revise facility Operational Procedures.
  • Monitor production and utility system parameters to ensure that the facility is operated within a safe working envelope, ensuring emissions, energy efficiency, and production targets are met.
  • Create, revise and complete work orders.
  • Conduct Critical Device Function Testing & monitoring of chemical performance.
  • Carry out process isolations as directed and in accordance with the PTW procedure.
  • Maintain a pro-active approach towards HSE by identifying facility hazards, ensuring environmental compliance and incident reporting, including participation in safety and toolbox meetings.
Experience
  • Experience in the Oil/Gas industry together with offshore or remote location experience in a multi-skilled environment or experience working in remote locations in a multi-skilled environment would be considered an alternative.
  • 5+ years in a similar position.
  • Strong self-motivational skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in and foster a team environment.
  • Strong leadership skills in field operations and safety management.
Qualifications
  • Western Australian based
  • Cert III in Process Plant Operations (required)
  • Current TBOSIET, MISC and CA-EBS
