We're excited that we are looking to expand our team and we're on the hunt for a great Domestic NDIS Cleaner to support our team in Hawthorn.

Your role will be client facing and represent our team as a whole - and is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work. The role will provide domestic cleaning services to NDIS participants in their homes, ensuring a clean, safe, and pleasant environment, which may include tasks like dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and potentially laundry.

What you'll do:

  1. Dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, cleaning kitchens, loading and emptying dishwashers, removing rubbish, and cleaning bathrooms, tidying living spaces.
  2. Replenishing all consumables such as toilet paper, hand towels, liquid hand soaps, etc. within the designated area. Ensure that there are adequate supplies to meet the requirements of these areas.
  3. Handling cleaning tasks with care and attention, respecting the confidentiality of sensitive documents and office spaces.
  4. Assisting with laundry tasks, including washing, drying, and ironing clothes and linen.
  5. Maintaining clean windows to allow natural light.
  6. Performing thorough cleaning of areas not typically cleaned regularly, such as ovens or grout.
  7. Ensuring surfaces are sanitised to reduce the risk of infection.

Specialised Tasks (if needed):

  1. Washing windows and glass surfaces.
  2. Adhering to company health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with cleaning standards.
  3. Assisting with decluttering and deep cleans when required.

Requirements:

  1. Prior experience in NDIS domestic cleaning is preferred but not required.
  2. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  3. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to tasks.
  4. Ability to perform manual cleaning tasks (e.g., lifting, bending, standing for extended periods).
  5. Basic knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and techniques.
  6. Demonstrated reliability, trustworthiness, and the ability to maintain confidentiality in a professional setting.

Must have:

  1. Willingness to travel within the community to participant homes, appointments, and events.
  2. A valid Victorian Driver License.
  3. Working with Children Check.
  4. NDIS Worker Screening Check.
