We are the worldwide go-to-market compute and data centre networking engine gathering market transitions and allowing sellers to expand growth for customers and Cisco. Alongside our colleagues, Cloud & AI Infrastructure builds the sales strategy, activates sellers and technical communities, and accelerates selling.

Your Impact

Want to work in a dynamic, fast-growing team and be engaged in Cisco's AI-Ready Data Centre opportunities? We are seeking a Solutions Engineer to join the newly formed ANZ Compute and Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure (CAI) team. In this role, you will develop technical relationships with NSW Enterprise customers, aiming to become a trusted advisor on technical design and architectures, influencing technology transformation decisions.

As a Cloud and AI Infrastructure Solutions Engineer, you will work closely with account teams to discover, define, develop, and design Compute and AI Infrastructure solutions that meet customer needs. You will help position data center virtualization and systems architecture solutions against competitors. Your passion for presales engineering, solution demonstrations, and architectures in Cloud and AI infrastructure will be key. You will also collaborate with product development teams and enable the broader presales organization in ANZ. Travel may be required to meet clients and attend industry events.

Minimum Qualifications

• 6+ years of technical presales experience selling Compute, Storage, and Data Centre Switching.
• Deep understanding of Data Centre network and Compute architectural designs.
• Deep knowledge of Data Centre enterprise applications, virtualization technologies, and operational tools.
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
• Cisco Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE).
• Knowledge of Cisco Nexus, ACI, and UCS solutions.
• Understanding of AI architectures and infrastructure products.
• Experience with Converged and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) solutions.
• Proficiency with automation tools like Ansible and Terraform, focusing on DC switching and compute.
• Basic software development skills, e.g., Python.
• Proactive leadership and team-oriented attitude.
• Self-starter capable of leading opportunities independently.
• Commitment to continuous learning and navigating complex customer challenges.
• Ability to build relationships across organizational levels and promote an 'I can' attitude.
• Creative problem solver willing to ask 'what if' and take calculated risks.
