What To Expect
Tesla Motors is looking for an experienced Parts Advisor to work on one of the most progressive vehicle brands in the world. This position requires significant customer interaction, so the ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide basic technical support.

The role may require travel as needed and directed by management. If you are interested in joining a world-class service team supporting the latest EV technology, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  1. Answer phone calls, emails, and drive-ins to address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  2. Return missed calls and emails efficiently.
  3. Receive stock, pick, ship, and manage inventory to support vehicle service needs.
  4. Accurately record parts transactions and data into the Dealer Management System, paying close attention to detail.
  5. Assist customers with order processes and provide order summaries.
  6. Escalate issues related to inbound packaging from internal and external suppliers.
  7. Maintain records of time, expenses, and materials.
  8. Communicate estimated parts shipment and arrival times, providing regular updates.
  9. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with parts orders.
  10. Perform other related duties as assigned.
  11. Help maintain cleanliness of the service center.
  12. Handle multiple priorities effectively, organize workload, and meet deadlines.
What You'll Bring
  1. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials.
  2. Understanding of basic automotive repair and servicing techniques.
  3. Experience with automotive equipment and servicing methods.
  4. Proficiency in DMS Systems, SAP, and MS Office Suite.
  5. 1-3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
  6. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions.
  7. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships, including with the public.
  8. Professional integrity and appearance as a parts advisor.
  9. Dealer automotive service experience is a plus.
