This is a contingent position based upon contract award.

Who You Are

You are a skilled, safety-conscious Boiler Operator with expertise in managing boilers and related systems. You understand heating and pressure systems, safety regulations, perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Your attention to detail and technical knowledge make you a reliable professional committed to safety and efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and operate boiler systems to ensure efficiency and safety compliance.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment performance and maintenance activities.
• Start and shut down boilers.
• Conduct safety and maintenance inspections.
• Track water levels and gauges.

Requirements:

• Must be a US or Australian citizen.
• Must possess an active US TS/SCI w/ Counterintelligence Polygraph or Australian PV Clearance.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Boiler Operator or in a similar role.
• High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications or vocational training may be required).
• Completion of an apprenticeship or formal training in boiler operation or related fields.
• Valid Boiler Operator license or certification.
• Knowledge of steam and hot water boilers, combustion systems, and associated components.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency in operating control systems and monitoring boiler performance.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Critical thinking and collaboration skills.

This role is located in Alice Springs and is expected to be onsite 100%.
