The Security Engineering team within M365 Core identifies threats and gaps in the infrastructure that hosts the world's largest organizations. This role blends research and hands-on testing to guide engineering toward secure, durable solutions. The Penetration Testing Manager will work on globally scaled services and provide unique experiences uncommon outside a major SAAS provider.

Responsibilities- Conduct offensive security assessments that simulate real-world attacks on M365 products, services, and infrastructure.
- Identify vulnerabilities across application, network, and operational domains; collaborate with engineering and security teams to support remediation.
- Strengthen the security posture of Microsoft's productivity suite through hands-on testing and cross-team collaboration.
- 7+ years of experience identifying security vulnerabilities, software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, modeling, cyber security, and anomaly detection.
- 1+ year of people management.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements. This includes specialized security screenings such as:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: required at hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Experience in attacking AI infrastructure and models.
- Leveraging AI for attacks and the penetration discipline.
- Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Alternatively, 8+ years of relevant experience in identifying security vulnerabilities, software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, modeling, cyber security, and anomaly detection.
