What you will be doing
  • Be engaged in general cleaning duties within our kitchens, including cleaning cooking and general utensils used in a commercial kitchen
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitizing of all surfaces
  • Keep floors and work areas clear of hazards and obstructions
  • Operate kitchen cleaning equipment
  • Assist employees who are cooking
  • Assemble and prepare ingredients for cooking
  • Perform general pantry duties
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills and a high standard of grooming and personal presentation
  • Ability and flexibility to work across a seven-day rotating roster, including late nights, weekends and public holidays
  • Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment is preferred; understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements
  • Organized and a great team player
  • Passionate about maintaining a clean and safe working environment
