About the Company

My client is a well-established, leading provider of services, programs and resources for the south east Queensland community. Within the Planning and Construction team, a large pipeline of projects is currently underway for the planning and construction of new facilities, and upgrades to existing facilities, across the State.

About the Role

The Senior Planning Officer will be responsible for the successful planning and execution of capital works, master plan designs and approval pathways.

  • Contribute to the development of the regulatory approval pathway to support the pipeline of projects for existing and future assets
  • Contribute to the coordination of planning application and approvals, to support the development of new and expansion of existing facilities
  • Provide general advice on technical planning and land acquisitions
  • Coordinate stakeholders for planning assessments and applications, ensuring alignment with project scopes and timeline before submitting Development Application
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders for approvals processes, the development and lodgement of town planning applications and approvals

This role is based in Brisbane.

About you

To be considered for this unique career opportunity, it is preferrable you possess:

  • A relevant degree in urban or town planning, environmental science, land use planning or other related field
  • Ability to liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • A passion for planning and development for community benefit
