We are now looking for an experienced and passionate Clinical Nurse to join our Quality and Governance team on a full-time basis to help shape our bright future.

What You Will Do

• Deliver high-quality person-centred nursing oversight to Minda clients living with an intellectual disability
• Develop, review and update client support plans to reflect client needs
• Proactively respond to clinical and medication incidents and initiate response referrals
• Contribute to the delivery of clinical training and competency assessments for staff
• Liaise with health providers and hospitals to support transfer from hospital to home
• Develop clinical documentation such as policies, procedures and work instructions

What You Will Need

• A tertiary qualification in Nursing (RN) and registered with AHPRA
• Genuine passion for the work and for supporting people with intellectual disabilities
• Post registration experience in clinical practice and writing support plans
• Sound interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and with empathy
• High level Microsoft office skills and able to use software programs to develop training
• Experience in the disability or other community services sector will be highly regarded
