Casual Veterinarian - Greencross Bedford

We are seeking a passionate veterinarian for a casual role on Saturdays at Greencross Bedford. You'll join a supportive, close-knit team of 5 vets and 6 nurses and contribute to a welcoming, family-like atmosphere.

Our clinic treats cats, dogs, and exotics and offers hydrotherapy sessions to support rehabilitation and recovery. It's conveniently located 6 km from Perth's CBD and features a modern facility including:

  • 4 spacious consult rooms
  • A welcoming waiting area
  • A fully equipped treatment room
  • Dedicated surgical theatre
  • Imaging suite
  • Combined dog and cat wards designed for patient comfort

We offer advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities, including digital X-ray, ultrasound, and in-house pathology.

Job Description

We're looking for a passionate and dedicated veterinarian who delivers personalised, professional, and compassionate care to both pets and their owners. This casual opportunity involves Saturday shifts with support from an experienced veterinarian. Heidi, our virtual veterinary support tool, is used to assist with histories. With the support of our experienced and collaborative team, you'll have autonomy to manage cases using evidence-based diagnostics and treatments. Our leadership team is innovative, customer-focused, and committed to your growth and success.

Qualifications

To be considered, you must hold a Veterinary Science qualification from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards' Council (AVBC) and/or have completed NAVLE, AVE or similar examinations. For more information, visit https://avbc.asn.au/
