The opportunity:
AIA now has a fantastic opportunity for a Rehabilitation Consultant to join our Shared Value & Wellbeing team.
As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will manage a portfolio of cases, providing strategy and advice to support customers in returning to wellbeing and to work. In this exciting role, you'll also get the opportunity to participate in dynamic initiatives and projects that span our entire business
We are searching for a passionate allied health professional to contribute to a highly experienced team, who are truly dedicated to making real impact on the lives of our customers.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Melbourne or Sydney.
To do this successfully you will:
- Advocate for rehabilitation and AIA's Principles of Best Practice in Occupational Rehabilitation
- Engage, motivate, and positively influence customers to participate in rehabilitation programs
- Develop and implement rehabilitation programs tailored to the needs of our customers
- Work closely with the Rehabilitation Team and Claims Team to deliver quality and results-focused outcomes for our clients
- Develop strategic relationships with key clients and stakeholders
Successful applications will demonstrate:
- Experience in Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counselling, Physiotherapy, Psychology, or as a Registered Nurse in an occupational rehabilitation environment
- Demonstrated experience within a rehabilitation role
- Strong knowledge of illness and injury, and the ability to develop and implement rehabilitation programs
- A highly skilled communicator that can manage relationships with multiple stakeholders
- A high level of personal integrity and confidentiality
