As an Insolvency Accounting Intern, you will learn how to help businesses recover from financial difficulties and support those undergoing insolvency or restructuring. An exciting opportunity is available for a talented Accounting or Finance graduate intern, with strong communication skills, empathy and discretion to provide support to a small team of insolvency experts.

Insolvency Accounting Internship Responsibilities
  1. Daily maintenance of insolvency files and preparing insolvency-related documentation for briefings
  2. Preparation of correspondence to stakeholders, including preparation of reports to creditors
  3. Assisting with detailed insolvency investigations and ensuring project plans are up to date
  4. Working with the Senior Insolvency Specialist to renegotiate existing finances for clients
  5. Ensuring creditors and supplier benefits are looked after during liquidation
  6. Assisting the Accounting & Audit team with client budgeting and forecasting activities for new owners
What you will learn in your Insolvency Accounting Internship
  1. You will be trained in all areas of insolvency, including personal and corporate. These include voluntary administrations, deeds of company agreement, liquidations, receiverships, bankruptcies, and Part Xs
  2. End-to-end project planning for take-overs and insolvencies for mid-tier corporates
  3. How to conduct thorough reporting and analysis for insolvencies
