Director of Compliance, Learning, & Teaching

We are seeking an experienced Director of Compliance, Learning, & Teaching to provide expert guidance in aligning the company with relevant legislation and regulations. Additionally, they will be implementing services catered to students, and ensuring the effectiveness of current practices in learning, teaching, and assessments.

We are a CRICOS RTO operating in Parramatta, Burwood, and Kogarah. We provide specialised training in Kitchen Management, Hospitality, Civil Construction, Childcare, Carpentry, and Management courses.

Our values are to encourage staff creativity and expertise by ensuring they have full freedom to express themselves and they are not confined to a 9 to 5 environment.

Key responsibilities

Responsibilities
  1. Guide our Academic team towards legislation and regulations compliance by developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures that are aligned with ASQA Standards
  2. Monitor and audit the current learning and teaching practices, and enhance them towards improved efficiency and compliance
  3. Contribute to the growth and development of our academic and compliance processes, and ensure that our processes are up to date with the new policies and procedures from the government
  4. Support the Academic Manager and other Directors towards excellent curriculum development and administer the accreditation processes of our courses
  5. Create a cooperative and rewarding work environment for all trainers, assessors, and academic support staff
  6. Provide training and support to staff on compliance issues
  7. Manage the Organisation's Risk Management Framework
  8. Investigate and resolve compliance issues and maintain records of compliance activities

Skills and Experience

Qualifications
  1. Demonstrated 3-5 years of experience in operations management or administrative systems within education sector
  2. In-depth knowledge of ASQA Standards and regulatory requirements
  3. Ability to create and analyse reports relevant to your responsibilities
  4. Excellent workload and time management skills to prioritise and meet deadlines
  5. High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
