Your Role:

We are seeking a leader, not just a team member. You must be able to perform these functions autonomously and to the highest standard:

You must have a proven ability to bring in new work, manage client expectations, and build lasting relationships.

You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of design projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to scope.

You must be able to run a design project independently, without requiring micromanagement.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in civil design engineering is mandatory.

You must be able to speak, communicate, and write fluently in English, including high-level report writing.

You must be an Australian Citizen.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all aspects of civil infrastructure design projects from concept to commissioning.

Prepare detailed design calculations, specifications, and technical reports.

Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Ensure all projects adhere to relevant Australian Standards and regulations.

Actively contribute to business development by identifying opportunities and nurturing client relationships.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

Minimum of 10+ years of experience in civil design engineering.

Demonstrated proficiency with relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, OpenRoads Designer).

Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and local regulations.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status is highly desirable.
