About the role:

The SAP Senior Business Analyst is responsible for providing functional support for SAP Sales & Distribution modules at Peabody. As a member of the team, this person will work closely with end users in the US and Australia on support issues, enhancement requests, and projects. This is a global role, based in our Brisbane office, in the areas of SAP Sales & Distribution modules.

Duties will include:

Business Engagement:

  1. Provide first & second level functional SAP support for US and Australia users.
  2. Provide training to end users where necessary.
  3. Coordinate with other functional, development and business teams in issue resolution.
  4. Communicate with business teams on important system events.
  5. Gather, define, document, and analyze business requirements.

System Configuration:

  1. Document SAP designs and functional design specifications.
  2. Design and configure SAP application to meet the business requirements.
  3. Identify test cycles/scenarios and conduct Unit, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing.
  4. Work on support/enhancement requests and projects in the areas of SAP ECC standard Sales, Distribution, Pricing, Credit, Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Revenue Recognition process including SAP SD and FI Integration.
  5. Knowledge of Allegro Application is an added advantage.
  6. Knowledge of Sabrix functionality is an added advantage.

About you:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  2. At least six (6) years of SAP configuration experience and a broad knowledge in all phases of the SAP lifecycle (ECC), S/4 is preferred.
  3. Strong understanding of the software development life cycle from idea inception through scoping, requirements gathering, analysis, design, construction, testing, QA, user acceptance, deployment, maintenance/support, and change management.
  4. Ability to work independently with business and development teams.
  5. Strong analytical skills.
  6. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Experience in the mining industry is preferred.
  8. Experience in Allegro application is an added advantage.
