About Us:We are a technology-driven company focused on personal safety and security. Our flagship mobile app, built using React Native, empowers users with real-time protection features. We also support wearable platforms through our Wear OS and watchOS companion apps, ensuring safety is always accessible.As we continue to scale, we're seeking a React Native Developer with a solid background in native mobile development (Swift for iOS, Kotlin for Android) to help us enhance, build and maintain our robust, secure, and user-friendly mobile and wearable experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of our React Native mobile applications for iOS and Android.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Integrate native modules and write custom native code when required (Swift/Kotlin).
  • Enhance and support our Wear OS and watchOS apps, ensuring consistent cross-device functionality.
  • Optimize app performance, security, and reliability.
  • Implement mobile best practices, including secure data handling and background processing.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
  • Monitor app performance, crashes (e.g., via Crashlytics), and feedback to continuously improve. Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mobile app development with React Native.
  • Proficiency in React Native, TypeScript, Redux, and modern React patterns.
  • Experience with native iOS (Swift) and native Android (Kotlin) development.
  • Experience building and maintaining apps for Wear OS and watchOS.
  • Solid understanding of mobile design principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with push notifications, location tracking, background tasks, and native permissions.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and WebSockets.
  • Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools.
  • Passion for clean code, performance optimization, and security. Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Messaging).
  • Familiarity with BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and device sensors.
  • Knowledge of mobile accessibility standards.
  • Background in personal security, emergency services, or related domains.
