Graduate Engineer role supporting Flooding & Stormwater projects in a diverse, innovative engineering consultancy in Brisbane.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist Senior Engineers in planning, designing, and executing engineering projects, including preparing tenders, pre-qualifications, and panel submissions.
  • Collect and analyse data to support team decisions and project outcomes.
  • Conduct technical research to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, reports, and drawings.
  • Identify and solve engineering problems to improve processes and product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
About You

What you'll need:

  • Recent graduate with a tertiary degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
  • Relevant work rights to live and work full-time in Australia.
  • Previous student vacation/internship experience, ideally in a consulting environment, highly desired.
  • Experience working within a team in retail, hospitality, or customer service industries highly desired.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
  • Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong rapport-building skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
