Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate arboricultural services, ensuring the health and sustainability of the urban forest.
  • Manage high-quality pruning, tree removals, and vegetation management.
  • Emphasize safety, operational planning, and achieving Council goals.
  • Foster teamwork, communicate with key stakeholders, and implement tree care strategies to support canopy cover targets.
Qualifications
  • Skilled professional in arboriculture and urban forestry with a strong leadership background.
  • Proven experience in tree care operations and safety compliance.
  • Operational planning, effective stakeholder communication, and strategies to enhance canopy cover and environmental goals.
Remuneration and benefits

Remuneration: base salary commencing at $76,426 gross per annum

  • Adverse working conditions allowance of $1,035 per annum
  • 12% superannuation
  • Performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary
  • Annual award increase
