Responsibilities
  • Promote and comply with all safety standards
  • Collaborate effectively with customers, contractors, and project stakeholders
  • Support electrical and software design as needed
  • Optimize cycle times and improve throughput
  • Maintain customer relationships
  • Assist with electrical and software design when required
  • Start-up, debug and troubleshooting of PLC Controls automation equipment at the Build Shop and customer\'s site.
  • Throughput enhancement at customer\'s site
Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of experience as a Controls Engineer
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in a related engineering or programming field
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs and HMIs
  • Preferred knowledge of automotive body shop systems
  • Experience with Ford standards (Next Gen/ GVOSS)
  • Extensive commissioning experience
  • Preferred hardware and software design capabilities
  • Ability to travel to customer sites across North America and Canada
  • Valid passport and driver's license
  • Eligibility for a TN Visa
