Commencing now, an exciting opportunity has become available for an engaging, personable and organised individual to work with a passionate team in our School Canteen 'The Hub.'

This is a permanent full time position working 8am to 4pm weekdays, during school term only.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean and stored correctly
  • Wash, clean and store all cooking equipment
  • Removal of rubbish/food scraps
  • The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Be hard working, committed and have a good work ethic
Experience Required:
  • Previous experience as a kitchen hand or in a kitchen environment (3 years preferred)
  • Ability to meet the role's physical demands, such as lifting heavy pots of water
  • A positive can-do attitude
  • Valid Working with Children Check
