We are currently seeking an experienced Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team and contribute to the success of our restaurant.
Position Overview As a Cook, you will play a vital role in the kitchen, ensuring the preparation of high-quality dishes that reflect our commitment to excellent food and hospitality. This full-time position is ideal for a passionate individual with strong culinary skills and a dedication to maintaining the highest food standards.
What You'll Be Doing
Preparing and cooking menu items to the highest standard, ensuring consistency and quality.
Assisting the Head Chef and kitchen team with daily kitchen operations.
Managing food preparation and storage to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
Contributing to menu development by bringing creative ideas and feedback.
Ensuring the kitchen remains clean, organized, and operates efficiently.
Monitoring stock levels, reporting shortages, and assisting with inventory management.
Collaborating with the team to create a positive and productive work environment.
What We're Looking For
A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Cook in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety protocols.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
A passion for creating high-quality dishes and working with fresh, local ingredients.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
A positive, team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.
What We Offer
Competitive salary based on Restaurant Industry Award 2024 Standards.
Full-time position: Minimum 38 hours per week, with holiday and personal leave accrued pro-rata. Salary will be determined based on experience.
