Overview

Catholic Healthcare is celebrating 30 years of providing care and is recruiting for Personal Care Assistants to join our team at Percy Miles. We offer morning, afternoon, and night shifts across the week in a not-for-profit setting with competitive pay and benefits.

  • Availability to do night duty is important
  • Pay rate – $35.05 per hour + casual loading + superannuation
Responsibilities
  • Assisting with personal care such as showering and dressing
  • Supporting day-to-day tasks such as eating and social activities
  • Working with clinical team members to ensure care plans are followed
  • Maintaining documentation and working as part of a team to ensure residents' health and wellbeing are optimised
  • Providing high quality service to families and the community
Qualifications and requirements
  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
  • Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
  • Good communication skills
  • A reliable team player
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety
  • A Certificate 3 in Aged Care (or equivalent)
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
