Role and Responsibilities
  • As a Health Information Manager / Clinical Coder you will clinically code inpatient episodes to an agreed quantity and quality in accordance with internal deadlines.
  • You will be supported by clinical coding auditors and educators who provide feedback and educational activities to help you engage and perform at your best.

About the Facility

Major sites include University Hospital Geelong, the McKellar Centre precinct, Barwon Health North, and residential aged care facilities. Mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.

You will code inpatient episodes to standard measures, with clinical coding auditors and educators providing feedback. You will be part of a supportive, dynamic team.
