About this role

SmartStream Technology is a division of Wormall Group and produces a range of plastic and precast concrete products for civil construction projects.

The role of Plastic Fabricator is based in our Werribee factory and involves assembling polymer products, operating fabrication machinery, using hand tools, and ensuring quality and safety standards.

It requires physical work, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions while maintaining efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

This role would suit those who have prior experience in roles that require use of power hand tools, such as; extrusion welders, drills, impact wrenches, routers, and jigsaws.

Skillset needed

IMPORTANT: You must be available for 1-2 weeks of training at our QLD branch.

  • Plastics Fabrication experience with training in Extrusion Welding is highly desirable
  • Physically fit, capable of manual handling and heavy lifting
  • Can use a range of power hand tools safely and with precision
  • Ability to follow drawings accurately and do basic math
  • High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (beneficial)
  • Valid Drivers Licence preferred – must have reliable transportation
