Principal Electrical Engineer - Secondary Systems

Job Description

We are seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer - Secondary Systems to contribute to major projects in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement engineering solutions for secondary systems in transmission and distribution projects.
  2. Provide technical support and guidance on secondary systems and protection design projects.
  3. Manage project teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of engineering outputs.
  4. Ensure all work complies with Australian standards and engineering principles.
  5. Contribute to client relationship development, bids, and proposals, including opportunity identification and cost estimation.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in Transmission Secondary and SCADA environments.
  • Design experience in HV transmission substations protection systems, including Low Voltage Control and protection.
  • Proficiency in developing functional specifications and designing SCADA systems.
  • Experience sourcing and integrating control systems hardware into substation designs.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage client relationships.
  • In-depth understanding of NSW power distribution systems.
