The Role
Ventia has been awarded a new contract with NBN Co over five years, with the option to extend. We are seeking experienced Quality & Training Supervisors to join its Network Operations and Services team to undertake the auditing, training and on-boarding needs of a number of NBN contracts in relation to internal staff and subcontractors. This role will cover areas from Newcastle, Tamworth, and Coffs Harbour.We encourage applicants from these areas and surrounding communities to apply."

Duties include but not limited to:

• Undertaking quality assurance audits of in progress and completed work

• Provide coaching and training where required to site personnel on contractual product quality requirements

• Prepare regular reports to internal and external stakeholders of product quality, product conformance trends and effectiveness of remedial action

• Perform Verification of Competencies and Practical Assessments on internal staff and subcontractors, where required

• Providing leadership and guidance to the Quality Auditing team reporting to your role

• Work with the Compliance Team to collate the training requirements for the group and in conjunction with Project Managers devise training regimes where required

About You
To be successful, you would ideally obtain a Certificate III in Telecommunications or similar, accompanied with the following:


• You will have experience in the telecommunications industry

• You must possess strong technical abilities in Copper and Fibre space and be able to deliver training through various effective methods

• Experience in maintaining our information systems and ensure accurate records are kept

• Strong communications skills

• Demonstrated work experience on the NBN network highly desirable
