The Role

Join our dynamic Maintenance Team and enjoy a role full of variety As a Handyperson on Hamilton Island, you'll help keep our resorts running smoothly by maintaining rooms, fixing fixtures, and carrying out minor repairs across multiple properties. No two days are the same — you could be moving picnic tables, cleaning gutters, getting TVS working, fixing doors or sanding walls, supporting carpentry, painting, or tiling projects.

Where you'll make an impact

Use your maintenance skills and experience in a variety of general trade duties to work in this full-time permanent position. Trade or partial trade qualifications are an asset, but not essential. You will use your initiative, problem-solving skills, commitment to safety and eye for detail to ensure our buildings look great and function perfectly, creating exceptional experiences for every guest.

To be successful, you will need:

• Maintenance skills, experience and competence in a variety of general trade duties.
• Valid manual driver's licence.
• White construction card
• Reliable and flexible attitude – rotating weekend roster shared amongst the team
• Be physically fit for this active role, have a high attention to detail, including strong problem-solving abilities
