ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently recruiting for experienced Automotive Mechanics and Technicians. Working as part of a highly skilled team in this rapid repair environment, the day to day duties of this role include inspecting and performing vehicle repair and light mechanical work.
SALARY: Between $80k - $110k+ plus super
HOURS: Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 3pm (40 hours per week)
LOCATIONS: Castle Hill (2154), Greystanes (2145), Prestons (2170), Marrickville (2204), Smithfield (2164), Banksmeadow (2019) and Brookvale (2100)
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Automotive mechanical and technical aptitude
Interest in the automotive industry
Willingness to learn
Dedicated and highly motivated
TASKS MAY INCLUDE:
- Checking parts, reviewing damage and fixing work in accordance with service manuals and operating procedures
- Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computers
- Repairing, maintaining and testing motor vehicle components
- Dismantling and disassembling vehicle engine components including (but not limited to) engine, transmissions and other areas
- Performing restorative and maintenance services both electrical and mechanical
- Reassembling engines, parts and panels after repairs
