Job Description

We are seeking skilled professionals to join our team as Short Term Planners and Schedulers. In this role, you will be responsible for:

Short Term Planners Responsibilities
  • Review approved notifications and prioritize non-urgent tasks
  • Estimate labor requirements and equipment downtime
  • Review maintenance history to ensure accurate data capture
  • Identify maintenance strategy inefficiencies and manage changes
  • Develop schedule documents as per company template
  • Review work in required schedule period considering asset criticality and statutory work
  • Identify potential scope conflicts and repackage activities
  • Arrange external contractors and commence CMS engagement
  • Update resource loading and maintain accommodation forecast
  • Review contractors' schedules and report on non-compliance
  • Attend monthly review meetings and identify plan deviations
  • Conduct site visits to validate progress and make agreed changes
  • Review progress and performance trend information to assess project completion
Schedulers Responsibilities
  • Review internal and external labor capacity and material availability
  • Develop draft maintenance schedule considering critical path and task interactions
  • Engage external contractors and maintain availabilities
  • Confirm shared equipment required for scheduled period
  • Update key stakeholders and business systems on exceptions
  • Liaise with execution leaders to confirm upcoming resource availability
  • Identify critical issues and work with stakeholders to resolve
  • Collects and collates work management data for review and improvement actions
About You

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

  • Relevant experience in a sustaining capital planning role, preferably in the mining industry
  • Intermediate/Advanced use of P6 and Excel
  • Knowledge of Clear Company systems and processes preferred
  • Well-developed stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • A positive attitude and attention to detail

This is a Perth-based opportunity working 40 hours per week on a 12-month contract initially. We offer competitive rates ranging from $80 to $110 per hour based on experience.
