The RoleWe're currently looking for a medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse who is currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and has at least one full year of nursing experience. The Enrolled Nurse contributes to planning, implementing and assisting in the evaluation of health issues and in the provision of nursing care for patients. This casual position offers flexible hours that may vary week to week, depending on organisational needs.
Our LocationThe South Coast Correctional Centre (SCCC) is a 1050-bed facility that houses male offenders in minimum, medium, and maximum-security areas. It is located in South Nowra, approximately 168km south of Sydney and 5km from the Nowra CBD. The SCCC provides accommodation for inmates as well as services and programs for recreation, education, and employment.
Reporting to a Nurse Unit Manager, you will work alongside a dedicated multi-disciplinary team comprising primary care, drug & alcohol and mental health services. You will be supported by a team of nurses focused on providing quality care to some of our society's most vulnerable and disadvantaged populations.
