Responsibilities
  • Lead pre-season and in-season merchandise planning, including sales forecasts, inventory, margins, and markdowns.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (buying, finance, retail, supply chain) to align on commercial goals.
  • Support new store openings with assortment planning, stock allocation, and performance tracking.
  • Develop and enhance planning processes, reporting tools, and forecasting models for greater accuracy and efficiency.
  • Mentor and coach junior planners, fostering collaboration and building a high-performing team.
Qualifications
  • Bring strong experience in merchandise planning with proven ability to manage forecasts, margins, and inventory.
  • Demonstrate analytical strength and commercial acumen, using data to inform decisions and optimise performance.
  • Show leadership capability, mentoring junior team members and contributing to a collaborative team culture.
  • Adapt quickly to changing trading conditions, identifying risks and opportunities with proactive solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on strategy and execution.
