Job Purpose

Assist the Technical Manager and the broader technical team by providing comprehensive support. This multifaceted role requires collaboration across production, quality control, sales, and marketing departments, offering professional development opportunities across diverse technical disciplines.

Key Accountabilities
  • Collect and compile evidence for projects, including new product development and value-added solutions for new build and specification markets.
  • Develop technical documentation, including standards, updates to Building Regulations, new products, and emerging market trends.
  • Design and implement training programs and delivery methodologies.
  • Analyze quality-related issues to identify root causes and deliver corrective and preventive actions.
  • Generate innovative ideas through alternative working methods and/or manufacturing processes.
Required Experience and Skills
  • Logical research methodologies and data analysis techniques.
  • Proficiency in producing clear, comprehensive reports in both verbal and written formats.
  • Strong presentation capabilities.
  • Positive understanding of environmental sustainability initiatives.
  • Engagement in quality assurance and quality control processes to drive improvements.
  • Experience contributing to evidence-based improvement initiatives.
Desirable Skills, Qualifications and Experience
  • Good understanding of Microsoft packages.
  • Manufacturing/engineering or other technical/science-based degree.
  • Curiosity and a positive approach to self-learning across technical industry sectors.
  • Willingness to participate in industry groups and forums and report observations and findings.

Location and Hours

Location: Tamworth

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
