About the Role: We are looking for an experienced management professional to assist the General Manager in bringing our vision, purpose and values to life in the role of Assistant Manager. From shaking cocktails in Gold Class to popping popcorn, delivering outstanding customer experiences will be at the forefront of everything you do. You will empower and coach our team to deliver success by leading from the front and helping our teams be the best they can be.

Assistant Manager Key Accountabilities:

• Operational Responsibility for Cinema: Assist in monitoring and enhancing customer service activities at the location; assist the General Manager in day-to-day operations in accordance with current policies, procedures, and legal compliance; ensure location presentation and cleanliness to company standards in Front of House and Back of House areas; facilitate repairs and maintenance with adherence to approved processes and stakeholder approvals.
• Overall Leadership and Team Management: Provide support to the Duty Manager and team; assist recruitment, induction and training with current processes; assist Performance Management of cinema employees and motivate the team to exceed service standards.
• Revenue and Financial Responsibility for Cinema: Support meeting revenue budgets; analyse operating statements and daily performance reports to identify improvement opportunities and take corrective action; help manage KPIs to control profitability; authorize and process inventory orders weekly or as needed; review business and sales opportunities to seek new revenue streams.
• Customer Service: Ensure employees focus on exceeding customer expectations; review feedback to identify patterns and drive improvements in satisfaction and retention.
• Sales and Promotional Opportunities: Drive revenue streams and maximize asset and sales opportunities.

Skills and Experience

These are the desired skills and experience for this role:

• 1-3 years' supervisory experience in a retail, food service or hospitality/leisure environment involving shift work.
• Previous experience with sales figures preferred.
• Experience in achieving sales targets.
• Senior First Aid Certification.
• RSA (Relevant to state/territory requirements).
• RMLV (Relevant to state/territory requirements).
• Approved Manager Licence (Relevant to state/territory requirements).
