We're a growing national business seeking an experienced Senior Administration & Accounts Officer. This pivotal role offers the chance to lead administrative functions, manage day-to-day accounts, and contribute to overall efficiency and success.

About The Role

This varied position combines administration, accounts, and team leadership duties. You'll work closely with our Executive and Senior Management teams, overseeing daily office functions, financial accuracy, and administration workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative support, including diary management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
  • Lead and support a small team of administrators, including delegation and task management.
  • Oversee daily financial tasks: accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, debtor management, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing (Xero).
  • Monitor and improve office systems and processes, ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and timely data entry and CRM management.
  • Act as a key liaison for client and stakeholder communications.
  • Coordinate team building and internal staff events.

About You

You're a proactive, reliable, and organised professional with:

  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar administration and accounts-focused role.
  • Strong financial acumen and end-to-end payroll experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Xero and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word in particular).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven experience managing or mentoring a small team.
  • A natural problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
