AMG Dandenong is excited to add a new Safety Manager to our Safety team. At AMG Dandenong, the safety of our workers is our highest priority. We are looking to expand our safety team to match our growing workforce at our Beef Processing Plant.

The Successful Applicant's Roles Will Include

  • Liasing with the Safety Consultant,
  • Implementing and enforcing safety standards,
  • Identifying potential hazards,
  • Conducting Risk Assessments,
  • Identifying, recording and reporting on hazards, accidents, injuries and health issues,
  • Assisting in the rehabilitation of workers after accidents and oversee their successful return to work,
  • Ensuring all workers use their Personal Protective Equipment as directed,
  • Ensuring hazardous materials are correctly stored and labelled, and
  • Assisting with providing first aid.

The Successful Applicant Must Have
  • Experience working in Safety,
  • Passion for the Safety of all workers,
  • Basic First Aid Certificate, and
  • Understanding of Return to Work, Risk Assessments and Hazard Reporting.
