Intermediate Accountant

We are seeking an Intermediate Accountant with strong technical capabilities, looking for an opportunity to continue to grow and develop both technical and non-technical skills.
You have commenced your CA or CPA qualification, with a few years of experience in public practice. You thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and will have demonstrated capability to:
- Prepare complex Tax Returns & Financial Reports for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships & Individuals
- Manage delegated jobs within given timeframes under the direction of the Team Manager & Client Director
- Handle client queries via email and phone with sound communication
- Take initiative in the delivery of jobs to timeframes and in budget
- Prepare complex Tax Returns and Financial Statements for a range of entities
- Manage and deliver assigned work within agreed timeframes
- Communicate with clients to resolve queries and provide updates
- Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and budget targets
- Degree-qualified accountant with a minimum of 4 years' experience in a public practice
- Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage timeframes and communicate clearly
- Proficient in Xero, MYOB and converting data into Financial Statements
- Strong knowledge of Tax & GST legislation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage your time and work independently
- Eagerness to learn and develop professionally
- Commenced CA or CPA studies
