Given our strong business growth and expansion, we have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced and reliable Electrician(240V/415V) to join our busy facility located inDarra, QLD. Reporting directly to the QLD State Manager, the main responsibility of the role is to service and maintain diesel-driven hire equipment including Compressors, Generators, Light Towers and a variety of vehicles and trucks.

Duties

Perform scheduled electrical maintenance, test & tagging equipment

Diagnosis and troubleshooting of 240VAC and 3-phase electrical faults

Load-banking

Ensuring smooth operations in the workshop

Administrative tasks relevant to the position

Be part of an on-call roster

Skills and Experience

You must possess a strong sense of urgency with an"I will make it happen"attitude to get the job done. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

An electrical based trade certificate is essential

Currently living in Australia at the time of applying

Has permanent working rights in Australia

Previous experience in similar Workshop/Field roles

Has a valid manual Driver's Licence

Experience working on Generators will be advantageous

Heavy Vehicle HR Licence will be advantageous

A forklift licence is preferred but not essential to be considered for this role

Can work unsupervised and can follow instructions

Is self-motivated and takes pride in their work

Is reliable and punctual and has excellent work ethics

Strong diagnosis and problem-solving skills

Works with a sense of urgency and is focused on providing the best possible service to our customers

Can work overtime, including weekends when needed and be part of an after-hours on-call roster

Has a stable work history and checkable work references

Previous experience and success in a similar role will be highly regarded, however, the successful applicant will be appointed primarily based on attitude.
