About the role:
  • Lead and mentor a small team of investigators managing complaints
  • Provide guidance to team members on complaint pathways, case management, and the preparation of high-quality reports.
  • Manage team resources, conduct performance reviews, and drive best practice in professional conduct investigations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate analysis of complaints, balancing fairness to complainants and solicitors.
The ideal candidate:
  • Admitted Solicitor with 7+ years PQE, ideally with strong experience in investigations, regulatory law, or professional conduct matters.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a legal team, with a collaborative and hands-on management style.
  • Skilled in evidence gathering, legal analysis, and report preparation for high-level committees or tribunals.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a focus on precision and integrity.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and sensitive matters.
