Job Title: .NET Developer with GCP Experience

Location: Melbourne, Australia

Duration: 6 Months (Contract)

Start Date: Immediate

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled .NET Developer with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for a contract opportunity with our client, Coles, based in Melbourne. This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in developing modern cloud-native applications using .NET and working across multi-cloud environments (GCP and Azure).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET Core APIs (RESTful, oData, GraphQL)
  • Build front-end components using Blazor Server App (Razor framework) and/or React
  • Work with cloud-native databases including Spanner, Cloud SQL, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, MySQL
  • Implement and manage messaging services: GCP Pub/Sub, Azure Event Hub & Event Grid
  • Deploy and monitor applications using GCP and Azure DevOps tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across cloud platforms

Technical Skills Required:

RAFE Stack:

  • .NET Core APIs (RESTful, oData, GraphQL)
  • Messaging Services: GCP Pub/Sub, Azure Event Hub and Event Grid
  • Platforms:

ROVER Stack (Nice to Have):

  • .NET Core APIs (RESTful), React, ASP.NET MVC

Ideal Candidate:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in .NET development
  • Strong experience in cloud platforms – primarily GCP, with secondary knowledge of Azure
  • Hands-on experience with microservices, cloud-native architecture, and containerization
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
