The Opportunity

You will be responsible for supporting a young participant in Sea Lake to achieve their goals, foster independence, and build valuable life skills through engaging and person-centred activities. We are looking for someone who can come prepared with creative, skill-building ideas for each shift, ensuring a fun and enriching experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate community access and participation.
  • Engage the participant in outdoor activities, including fishing and exploration.
  • Develop and implement engaging, skill-building activities tailored to the participant's interests and goals.
  • Support the participant in building capacity and independence.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment

Travel included and flexible shift options available.

About You

To set the benchmark standard of services, we seek like-minded support workers that uphold and represent our core values: Integrity, Empathy, Creative, Inspire, Mindfulness & Bold.

In addition to our values, our support staff require Mandatory Experience and Compliance:
  • 12+ months' experience as a Support Worker.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Disability, Aged Care, and/or Nursing.
  • Experience in Behaviour of Concerns.
  • Experience working with young children.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • National Police Check.
  • Working with Children's Check.
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
  • Medication Training Certificate (or willing to obtain).
  • Manual Handling Certificate (or willing to obtain).
  • Full Victorian Drivers Licence and Comprehensively Insured Vehicle.
  • Flexible availability and a can-do attitude.
