Our Civil Division at KHG Contracting is currently seeking a qualified & experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our expanding Civil Team.

This role involves working within our Civil Division on projects based in Perth and FIFO roles.

Responsibilities:

  1. Planning and managing civil engineering projects, including creating project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  2. Conducting site investigations and feasibility studies to assess project requirements and constraints.
  3. Designing and preparing engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations for construction projects.
  4. Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  5. Managing and coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
  6. Ensuring compliance with engineering standards, codes, regulations, and health and safety guidelines.
  7. Monitoring and controlling project progress, including tracking costs, schedules, and quality performance.
  8. Managing and resolving technical issues during construction.
  9. Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.
  10. Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and team members.

Requirements:

  • Valid working rights in Australia.
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Senior Project Engineer.
  • Extensive experience in the Civil Construction Industry.
  • Bulk Earthworks Experience (mandatory).
  • Experience working on Tailings Dams (mandatory).
