Job Description

Role : Senior Network Project Manager – Mobile Core Program

This role will work in the Customer's Network Engineering group, responsible for the core of the Customer's Existing Network, including 4G/5G packet, data & voice core, messaging services, real-time services, and cloud infrastructure.

This role is responsible for planning, overseeing, and leading projects from ideation through to completion. It is a full-time senior Project Manager role requiring interaction with internal and external stakeholders, often managing several projects simultaneously.

Job Responsibilities
  • Focus on completing projects efficiently and promptly
  • Manage several projects concurrently
  • Lead project meetings, steering committee meetings, and planning sessions
  • Coordinate staff and internal resources
  • Manage project progress and adapt work as required
  • Ensure projects meet deadlines
  • Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Design and sign off on contracts
  • Oversee all project documentation
  • Design risk mitigation plans
  • Conduct project reviews and create detailed reports for executives
  • Optimize and improve processes and overall approach as needed
  • Manage large and diverse teams
Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates should have five or more years of experience, preferably in the telecommunication industry, with formal qualifications in:

  • Engineering/IT
  • Management

Background in telecommunications core networks is preferred. The Project Manager should also possess the following skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage high-stress situations
  • Multi-tasking and managing various project elements
  • Leadership skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Technical understanding of telecommunications networks
