Overview

As the Assistant Manufacturing Manager, you will be the eyes, ears and hands for our Manufacturing Manager while away. You will oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process within our organization. You will be responsible for coordinating production activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met and managing a team of production staff. You will possess strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process to ensure efficient, safe and quality production.
  • Coordinate production activities and manage a team of production staff.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in manufacturing management, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, technologies, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organisation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP system is a must.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed to meet production deadlines or address urgent issues.
  • Desire to develop leadership abilities, managing the team to KPIs, and company standards (start meetings, 1:1s, performance reviews, weekly meetings).
  • Desire to acquire knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental requirements applicable to manufacturing operations.
