Senior Interior Designer – Two-Year ContractContribute to a Legacy Hospitality Project in WA's South West

MKDC is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Senior Interior Designer with strong Revit capability, proven interior documentation experience, and a collaborative mindset to join our dynamic team. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to a landmark hospitality development alongside a high-performing, multidisciplinary team. The role is based in our West Perth studio, with an immediate start preferred.

About the Role

Join MKDC as we refine and deliver interiors for this significant hospitality project. You'll be part of a dedicated team providing design and documentation expertise across multiple buildings—some showcasing heritage detailing, others embracing contemporary design logic. The project has progressed past DA approval and is under active construction, with interiors entering a critical phase of development.

Project Context

The project is located in Margaret River, which offers a unique opportunity to blend heritage restoration with thoughtful hospitality design. You'll work closely with architects, designers, consultants, and client stakeholders to support design development and deliver detailed documentation across a diverse site footprint.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proficient to expert-level Revit skills, with strong documentation capability
  • Experience in interior finishes and FF&E selection for hospitality environments
  • Strong organisation and coordination skills across disciplines
  • Provide high level of written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder team
Qualifications & Experience
  • 5 - 8 years' experience in hospitality / commercial interior projects
  • Advanced Revit proficiency and strong documentation skills
  • Experience with FF&E and finishes selection
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a multi-stakeholder team
  • Familiarity with Australian codes and standards for interior fitout
