About:

A nationally established firm in Melbourne is looking for a Financial Services solicitor with experience in insurance or superannuation to join their team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with their team to solve novel and elaborate regulatory matters and provide expert, innovative advice to their clients.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ Years PQE, with experience in Insurance / Superannuation matters.
  • Experience advising superannuation trustees or insurers.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, communication, and commercial acumen.
  • Readily able to manage client expectations and motivated to provide excellent client advice.
  • Able to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Innovative, curious, empathetic and act with integrity.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Integrate and collaborate with members within the legal practice and other departments/disciplines
  • Show initiative to tackle emerging client problems
  • Liaise with risk assessment teams and prepare innovative solutions for clients accordingly.
  • Leverage your wealth of understanding of financial services, opportunities and risks to provide expert, strategic legal advice.
