About the Role

Applications are invited for a psychiatry registrar position (unaccredited, stage 2 or stage 3)

Training rotations available include: general adult inpatient and community psychiatry, child and adolescent mental health, Koori, consultation-liaison, psycho-oncology, psychogeriatrics, dual diagnosis, perinatal psychiatry, and psychiatry in the private setting. For further information please refer to the SVMH Psychiatry Training Program attachment.

There is an extensive academic and educational program available to trainees at StVincent's Mental Health. St Vincent's has a particular commitment to providing a comprehensive training program which includes quality experience in psychotherapy (supported by our Head of Psychotherapy Training), and an active examination preparation program. In addition to RANZCP Supervision, a senior psychiatrist supports our inpatient registrars with a reflective practice group.

Classifications for this position will range from HM25 - HM30 ($129,048.40 - $177,622.12 pro rata per annum) + salary sacrifice and excluding super
