Overview

Grove Psychology Clinic is a mental health clinic offering psychology services to clients across the lifespan with a wide range of presenting concerns. The clinic is owned and operated by a psychologist with a PhD in clinical psychology who trained and practiced in New York City before moving to Australia.

The clinic opened in November 2024 and has a growing team of psychologists. The clinic is located in Brunswick Heads, NSW. It overlooks the beautiful Brunswick River and is located right in the heart of the town. The space has a number of large treatment rooms available to work in, all filled with ample amounts of natural light and stylishly furnished. There is also a room solely dedicated to group therapy.

Grove is currently hiring psychologists to join the team

Role

Overview of the Role: Working as a psychologist in private practice can be an isolating experience. Grove is a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment for those looking to work as a team to provide high-level psychiatric care to local community members. As a contracted psychologist, you will set your own rates, hours, vacation days, etc. As a member of the Grove team, you will have the opportunity to participate in ongoing peer supervision, consultation, and professional development. We are currently looking for psychologists interested in providing any or all of the following: individual therapy (child, adolescent, and/or adult), group therapy, family therapy, and couples therapy.

Ideal Candidate

Registered psychologist or clinical psychologist with AHPRA

Membership with the Australian Psychological Society (APS)

An experienced clinician who is passionate about working in a collaborative space

Strong preference for psychologists with training in EMDR and/or psychologists with training in family and couples counseling
