Register now to be first in line for future opportunities. Reporting directly to the Flight Nurse Manager, you will work in a diverse, fulfilling and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities- Be at the forefront of aeromedical health services, providing primary response, intensive care, midwifery and trauma services, including emergency retrievals, as part of our high-performance aeromedical team in regional, rural and remote SA & NT
- Work in a dynamic environment using your skills and experience to deliver outstanding patient care, where two days are never the same.
- A healthcare professional who takes pride in delivering high quality nursing & midwifery care
- Experienced in working as a sole practitioner, with a high level of critical thinking and decision-making skills in high pressure situations
- Willing to work collaboratively with other health professionals, pilots, and operational employees to provide high quality health care in a remote environment.
- AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife
- Five (5) years minimum post registration experience which must include a minimum of three (3) years' experience in a critical care environment, after completion of a recognised tertiary post graduate certificate (or higher) in either Emergency Medicine or Intensive Care. The experience must be in either a:
- Recognised Major Regional or Tertiary Hospital Emergency Department with 24 hour in-Department medical coverage
- Recognised Intensive Care Unit; or
- Cumulative of three years critical care experience across both environments
