Associate Nurse Unit Manager – DOSA /Day Surgery

About the Role

Join our team in DOSA, Day surgery, and Endoscopy as ANUM.

We currently admit, process, and discharge 50-70 patients per day across the 3 areas. This role can also include Dermatology.

You will:

  • Mentor and lead a dedicated team of nurses and clinical support staff within a supportive leadership environment.
  • Be committed to empowering others to succeed.
  • Have an excellent opportunity to advance into a management position and develop clinical leadership skills.
  • Report directly to the Nurse Unit Manager.
  • Work on a 7-day rotating roster - Monday to Saturday.

About You

You will bring a capacity to lead and inspire a team of clinical professionals and act as a passionate mentor to junior staff.

You will also bring:

  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Previous Endoscopy experience to cover Endo and Dermatology area.
  • Clinical leadership and DOSA experience will be highly regarded.
  • A Critical Care certificate will be highly regarded.

Remuneration: On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $55.92 - $57.76 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC Associate Nurse Unit Manager yr1-yr2)
